Arnold District Road Work Closures

Update 21 August:

The Arnold District Road closure continues this week (Aug 21 – 24).

Monday through Thursday during workdays (approx 6AM to 4PM) the road will need to be closed to car/truck traffic for safety of the Town crew and the traveling public.

Update 10 August:

The Brandon Highway Department will close the Arnold District Road from Hollow Road & Adams Road north to the Leicester town line for all or a portion of the following workdays (road will be reopened each afternoon for evening travel): *Monday – Thursday, August 14 – 17.

The Town crew is rebuilding roadbed sections in preparation for the repaving to be done later this season. Signage will be put up. Access to Park Village from US Route 7 will not be impacted.

Update 25 July:

Work on the Arnold District Road was suspended while the highway crew made flood response measures their priority. The town crew is working on the Arnold District Road today (Tue 25 July) and will be tomorrow (Wed 26 July). The road is closed north of the junction of Hollow Road and Adams Road and cannot be used during the workday either day. It will be reopened about 4PM.

The highway foreman does NOT anticipate any Arnold District Road closures from 27 July – 13 August, but motorists should use caution as the surface will be uneven. The town crew next anticipates Arnold District Road closures during the workday 6AM – 4PM Mon 14 Aug – Thur 17 Aug. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Update 24 July:

The Brandon Highway Department will close the Arnold District Road from the junction of Hollow Road and Adams Road north to the Leicester town line for all or a portion of the following workdays (road will be reopened each afternoon for evening travel):

*Mon – Wed, July 24th through 26th.

Signage will be put up, but plan to use an alternate route such as US7 to Cram Road in Leicester.  Access to Park Village is not impacted.
