Budget Advisory Committee Members Sought

The Selectboard seeks Brandon residents who would like to serve on this year’s budget advisory committee.  Candidates should be willing to attend as many of the budget workshops as possible.  These are generally 1st and 3rd Monday evening sessions and this year are projected to be held from late August through November or December.  The budget advisory committee’s role is to give advice and assistance to the selectboard as it builds the FY27 budget for proposal to the voters.

If you would like to be considered for the budget advisory committee, please

(1) submit the “appointments cover sheet” (linked here) and

(2) a letter of interest to Seth Hopkins, town manager, at manager@brandonvermont.gov , to arrive by noon on Thursday, July 31st.  Please also

(3) make yourself available to meet with the selectboard in one-candidate-at-a-time executive sessions at 6PM on Monday, August 11th.  The selectboard expects to make appointments at their August 11th meeting and then to set up the budget workshop series.
