Notice to Property Taxpayers

Notice is hereby given that the final and fourth quarter payment for the property taxes assessed upon the grand list of the Town of Brandon for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014 is due Thursday, May 15th, 2014.  After May 15th, all unpaid taxes will be subject to an 8% penalty and interest at the rate of 1% per month for the first three months delinquent, and at the rate of 1.5% for the remaining periods of delinquency.  Please bring your tax notice with you or enclose it with your remittance.  Taxpayers are requested to save themselves and others much inconvenience by making payments as early as possible instead of waiting for the last day. Payments may be mailed to Town of Brandon, 49 Center Street, Brandon, VT  05733, or can be made in person at the Town Office located at 49 Center Street, or deposited at either of the two drop boxes located in front of the Town Office, 49 Center Street or at the Neshobe School.
